Eric is an active violinist, violist and cellist in the Greater Indianapolis area, performing regularly with a variety of local ensembles including the Anderson Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Indiana (Muncie Symphony Orchestra), Carmel Symphony Orchestra, Indianapolis Men’s Chorus, Center Grove Show Choirs, and several churches and musical theater companies.

Mr. Baker has taught throughout Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania for over 10 years. Most recently, he served as Director of Orchestras at Center Grove High School and Center Grove Middle School Central. During his tenure, he significantly expanded the orchestra program, earned consistent ISSMA Gold ratings, and received both “Best Orchestra” and the Adjudicator Award at the WorldStrides Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee.

Eric earned both a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He holds Level 1 Suzuki Certification in violin and viola from the Pittsburgh Suzuki Institute and Level 1 certification in Paul Rolland String Pedagogy from VanderCook College of Music. He also completed a Master of Education in Educational Leadership at Indiana University Bloomington.
