FREE Recital Opportunity

ISSMA Solo & Ensemble Prep

Meridian Music School is pleased to offer a free performance opportunity for all students currently studying with our instructors who are preparing for the ISSMA Solo & Ensemble event. This session is designed to help students feel confident, polished, and performance-ready.

All instruments are welcome—including piano, voice, woodwinds, drums, brass, and strings.

Mr. Eddie will be present to provide guidance on presentation, musicianship, and overall readiness.

Performance order will be posted at the entrance of Goodwin Hall, organized in 7-minute segments.

We’re excited to support our students and help them shine at ISSMA!

Please wear something nice to celebrate the day!  Please do not wear bracelets or rings if you are playing instrument.

Length of entire performance should not exceed 6 minutes including walking up to the stage, bowing, and performance.  Mr. Eddie might stop in the middle of the performance if it is too long which can happen at real ISSMA solo and ensemble.

This event will not follow a traditional recital format. Students and parents may enter and exit between each 7-minute performance segment. However, if you’d like to support other performers, you are welcome to remain inside Goodwin Hall.

We kindly ask that all attendees maintain quiet and respect during each performance and during Mr. Eddie’s feedback period.
