Caryn Smith is 2017 Teacher of the Year!
Piano Teacher, Caryn Smith has been awarded Meridian Music School’s Teacher of the Year. Each Year Meridian Music School names one music instructor Judy Goodwin Teacher of the Year. The Teacher of the Year Award is named after the founder of the Meridian Music Education Department and is awarded to the teacher who best represents the professionalism and spirit of the Music School. Caryn has taught piano for more than 18 years and has taught at Meridian Music School since 2006. Caryn works well with students age 5 to adult. Caryn views her teaching and the student’s learning as a team-effort. She works hard to keep her students excited about music. As a result her students learn to enjoy practicing, and they work hard to achieve their goals. Caryn also teaches beginning and classical guitar. Congratulations, Caryn!
