Vandi Enzor recently moved back to the Indianapolis area after finishing a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Akron where she studied with Dr. Laurie Lashbrook. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Shorter University. Vandi is classically trained in voice and piano and has significant performing and teaching experience. Having performance experience in multiple genres including opera, film, straight theater, musical theater, big band/swing, jazz, country, pop, rock, sacred music, and contemporary Christian, Vandi is comfortable teaching a wide range of musical genres. She has worked with students of all ages and skill levels and offers piano and voice lessons, audition techniques and theater coaching, and musical skills lessons. As part of Vandi’s voice studio, you will have the opportunity to participate in regular studio classes and educational workshops and will be able to perform in a studio recital three times per year. Some of Vandi’s recent performances have been in Carmel, Indiana as a soloist and in the musical duo, Bye Girls, in concert settings, with the University of Akron’s Opera Lyric Theater in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel (Gretel), singing Spanish folk songs with the University of Akron’s Guitar Ensemble, performing as a soloist in the University of Akron’s commencement ceremonies, and leading, coordinating, and performing with the contemporary service band at Advent Lutheran Church in Uniontown, Ohio. Some of Vandi’s favorite performances have been The Worst One Ever (Jennifer), Die Fledermaus (Rosalinda), Bastien and Bastienna (Bastienna), La Rondine (Magda), Cendrillon (Le Fee), and Penelope’s Revenge (Penelope).
