Paulo holds a Bachelor’s degree in piano from the State University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he specialized in chamber music and accompanying, and a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from Butler University. He’s an active performer, clinician and teacher, in the Indianapolis area, other states and abroad, having performed and taught in Brazil, Argentina and Asia, where he was part of the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir Tour in China, performing venues like the Great Wall and the Forbidden City Hall in Beijing. He also did a tour performing Bossa Nova music throughout China, performing both solo and in collaboration with other local and international artists. Paulo works also with The Indianapolis Children’s Choir as one of the regional choir’s director and accompanist. He is also the Music Director at the S. Andrew Presbyterian Church.
